A single-seat cushion echoes the curves on the sofa's front, while loose pillows in assorted sizes line its upholstered back. Arms curve on either side to provide added support. Construction & Materials

Padding & Ergonomics Standard seat cushion on most frames is Blendown: foam core with a 95/5 feather-down wrap. Standard back cushions are usually 95/5 feather down. This combines the comfort of down with the support and low-maintenance qualities of foam.

Upholstery Frame Construction Frames are bench-made, one at a time. Most frames constructed of 7-ply engineered wood, kiln dried to 6-8% moisture content to ensure a lasting frame. Mortise and tenon joinery is employed to prevent warping and racking. Curved frames are double doweled and glued for strength. Exposed wood portions of frames are solid hardwood.

Seat Support Description Most frames contain Comfort-flex high tech continuous spring mechanism for consistent comfort. Heavy steel angle iron supports and extra wood block supports further enhance their strength. Frames with seat depths of 30” or greater or with curved frames include eight-way, hand-tied spring systems.
